    Bad show Riva

    Rang Riva to get my new ecu activation code.After Six attemps Long Distance phone calls ie im in the UK was told they could not give it to me today try tomorrow

    AND THEY CALL THIS CUSTOMER SVS(not happy bunny)

    it should have been in the package with the ecu, at least mine was.

    I believe you have to call in to get your activation code and then you get the activation code after providing them with your VIN number.

    i deal with riva daily. I only deal with one person, Mark S. he always comes thru for me. I have also had the same issue with no code and im a dealer. so it happens it took him an hr or so to get back to me but he did. they are extremely busy with all yahoos like us buying up go fast crap....

    just did a riva recently on my 04....as I understand it....dealer calls riva w/ ecu# and hull id, riva get activation code from BRP, and they cannot get the code on week-ends or if certain someone is away from desk. When u activate riva ecu, BRP knows. Call Jen @ RIVA, VERY nice lady

    yup, she called BRP and WHEN they call her back she calls u w/ the code. So u see, it ain't all riva......

    Personally I think that the whole code thing and Riva having to activate the ECU is BS. With the Riva unit your warranty is totally shot (for those of you that have or shal I say had one ), at least with the Rotax ECU you can switch it back if you have to get warranty work done.
