    1997 GTX

First off let me start by stating that I know little to nothing about jet skis. That said, I am interested in a 1997 GTX but im concerned about the power and size. I want a ski that will be able to pull a water skiier. I read online that it only has a 782cc motor, 110 HP. Are the smaller skis more fun to ride (1 or 2 seaters)? Also on average about how many hours do these things last. I would be getting a really good price on it but I dont want to buy something that I will regret down the road. Any info or opinions will be appreciated.

you can pull water skiiers or wakeboarders with no problems. you can even pull someone up on a slalom ski. the smaller skiis are more fun to ride, but it all depends on what you want in a ski and where you are going to be doing most of your riding. i used to have a 97gtx and loved every minute of it.

I have a 99 GTX and also a smaller Spi...both are fun, but if anyone is going to be riding with you and you are thinking about pulling tubes, etc...get the GTX...solid ski there man!
