I'd like thank all of you that helped with the info to get my ski running. This is the best place to come to for help. I put my motor back in the boat today put all back together and it started right up it sounds strong.I guess new reeds, new triple flue pump, crab kit,new high tork starter, and new Bendix was worth the $$$$. And a spacial thank you to (Xlint89) for the help hope to see you on the lake. can wait the hit the lake looks like I'll beat the ice over all.

XLINT, I hope to see both of your skis out there. No ice for quite a while... lets ride! So we still don't know if it was the starter or the bendix?

Don't forget your plug chops and/or piston wash.

well you have 2 make sure shes getting the right air 2 fuel ratio since its a 2 stroke , it uses the oil in the gas to lubercate ,

dont have enough gas , its not getting enough oil witch will destroy its self

I did nothing but encourage him. Wish I knew which part it was for sure. Cranked with plugs out, but not with them in. He mentioned the bendix operated very smoothly in his hand. Maybe the starter was it? Neal, do a search for piston wash pics. You want a black piston crown with fingernail sized brown spots on the outer edges. All black is lean and very bad.
