You have eveything hooked up properly. The strainer will not look like water is going through it...Have you taken the containeroff the strainer to see if water is in it?

    2 things,

    1. is the arrow on the strainer pointing to the left?
    2. are you running it on the hose only & not in the water?

Then he should be getting SOMETHING on the strainer....

pump --- strainer --- IC --- front exhaust manifold

    Something SHOULD be coming out...

Hmm, I never noticed if the strainer fills up when flushing & I don't have time right now to try. . The water "in" is on the other side of the pump when flushing right? So, Does it cycle through & exit the the pump intake?

    Off to Disneyland!!!

When flushing the ski off a hose, the water flow is BACKWARDS...As long as you have it in that order, you should be fine...

I say connect the hose, go to each connection and disconnect to see if there is waterflow....trace the water route for obstructions....

if you can post pics also, that would help....

    Still here, leaving in 5.

Yes the flow is backwards always but, does it flow out the water intake where the pump feed the motor or does it just go out the exhaust? I'm not sure on the 4 strokes.
