Measurements of crank. Good or Not?

    1994 Sl 750
    These were the measurements.
Mag was 3.489 C at TDC was 1.412 PTO was 3.441
Is this crank twisted or not?

I've been running BPR7ES Spark Plugs should I be using different plugs?

Try the measurement again just to verify. Usually you need to hold the CEN at "true" TDC. If you let off the coupler, the crank will usually roll a little due to the magnets on the flywheel. BPR7ES is usually too hot according to the guys in here. You can run the BPR8ES with no problems at all for a 750. Some 780's use the BR8ES plugs.

This is Playtime and I appreciate that you respond to my thread on my Polaris SL 750 1994. I did look for TDC on my crank like you said and held it there. These are my readings. Can you tell me if these readings are close enough to mean my crank is good? Here are the readings.
    Mag 3.460 C at TDC 1.415 PTO 3.477
    ( Off by .017 )

I agree. I think your crank is fine. If you feel you're hjaving timing issues, remove the flywheel cover and see if the woodruff key has sheared.

Yeah...about that. I was supposed to swing by toaday and help finish pulling it, wasn't I?? I'm lazy.

I really need to come by and get the hull emptied so I can start cleaning it too!
