Thread: Trademarked names

i filed to register wavehummer as a trademark....to no suprise was denied, one of the reasons they gave was that a company such as GM can be expected to enter the watercraft market and the hummer part of the name may confuse consumers....what a joke...wonder if i can claim copyrights to the wavehummer name so gm and hummer don't steal my idea??

What exactly is your idea?
The name? or is there some sort of product associated with it?

Call the folks at legalzoom.com. I used them to get our company trademark and saved big $s. It takes a long time no matter who you use. But I got a good laugh thinking about a GM watercraft. Not likely in the near future.
