    sl900/ 700 hurricane conversion?

    anybody know if a sl900 motor will fit into a 700 huricane hull and be a fairlt easy swap? any info would be greatly appreciated.

    I have been thinking of doing something like that but just don't have an extra triple laying around or the extra cash. It looks like it will fit nicely if you lose the oil injection and go pre-mix. I think the oil pump will hit the gas tank. I myself like the oil injection and would probably get a tank made out of aluminum. If it's a 96 I would look into getting the drive shaft update kit. Don't forget you need to swap out all the electrics.

    I AM BETTING ON IT TO BE A NO BRAINER
    my brain is buzy thinking trim hhhhmmmmm
    ok pump from the slx
    a bracket to hold the motor
    an old stearing cable---cut in half to be trimed later
    an old st. cable thru hull fitting
    can anybody picture it
    granted I have never even touched a cane or had 1 stand out 2 me that i can remeber ---got 1 coming around the 28th

    I'd be on the look out for a 94 SL650 trim kit. The kit has everything you would need including the electric motor.
