    Need a new wear ring help a brotha out! ;o)

    Need one before next Wed, whats the latest and greatest way to get one? Anyone have any extras they wanna give up on? Thanks!!

    I have repaired all the ones I have...Epoxy, sand, install...3 hours TOPS.

    Danny, what type of Epoxy do you use on your rings?Is it a two part epoxy? whats the curing time and the grit of paper, does it sand easy.thanks...

    Im curious on the epoxy too. Do you have the link to where you posted this before?

    Do you only skim the wear ring with Epoxy or do you put a whole new coat on?

    I still want to buy a new ring but I was thinking of ttrying this out myself.

    PC11 2 part, used it for my skegs...lay it on with a popcicle stick, THINNLY...Sand with a drill press....

    I'll post pics tomorrow when i do another one...

    Workign on it tonight...I was working on my waterbox yesterday, then the rain hit and I had to stop...

    I plan on taking a few sheets of MDF, stacking them on top of each other and making a cylinder slightly smalle than the inside of the ring...bolt in the center for my dirll press...wrap it in sandpaper...viola!
