I never listen to rap, but speaking of G-Unit, you might find this interesting...

50 Cent bought the old Colonial Real Estate house. (Mike Tysons old digs)
It was a big deal back in the day as the owners of Colonial Real Estate were big frauds and ripped off millions. (Way, way before Mike Tyson had anything to do with the property, I only used him as a reference to the property)
Anyway, Fitty is selling the joint and the company I work for is supposed to be doing a walk-through to make sure everything is up to par with the HVAC system. (I guess when someone is thinking of dropping 18 or 20 million on a crib they expect the heating and air conditioning to work)

Anyhow, when and if this goes down, I'll be one of the 4 guys going.
    Here's the irony...
I couldn't care less about rap or that entire genre, but yet I get to go.

Why can't we be checking out Jennifer Love Hewitt's HVAC system??? Sigh....

Mans got a nice house. But I'd drop $25 mil on a yacht before i spent $1 mil on a home. Man needs his priorities checked...

I like everything you listed and then some, but I'm more of an old school hip hop guy. I'd hafta add these to your list as well:

    Erik B. & Rakim
    De La Soul
    Digital Underground
    Tribe Called Quest
    EPMD
    Cypress Hill
    Outkast
    Roots
    Kool Moe Dee
    LL cool J
    Run DMC
    NWA
    Mos Def
    Special Ed
    Slick Rick
    Doug E Fresh
    MC Lyte
    Eminem
    Bustah Ryhmes (sp?)

I'm not really into the new rap, it's too much nonsense about money, cars, houses and women. I like rap that sends a message and tells a story.

My all time favorite is B.I.G. His flow is amazing and his raps tell great stories.

My favorite line: Poppa been smooth since days of underoos!

Hmmmm, you might like Immortal Technique, he's a legit rapper, pretty hardcore and some dirty sh*t that he raps about but it's pretty core.

sounds liek you guys like alost of okdskool west coast beats. Personally I'm not a huuge fan but some of it's alright. Easy-E had some good stuff but I generally wasn't a fan. I like the new stuff, Young Jeezy has amazing insturmentals and I liek his lyrics too. Akon is also a good rapper, especially when he has good features. Obie Trice I've always liked. Eminem is a solid rapper. The members of G-Unit also have good rap on their own, ie. Young Buck's newest album, Lloyd Banks, Yayo, 50. A-Town rap is legit. Tech N9ne is pretty fat.
