    RXP oil information

Hi I have a 05 RXP that I just got from my brother. He told me that I need to change the oil so I started reading the manual. It says not to use Syn oil which I dont have a problem with but from working in the automotive field for 7+ years I thought it was odd that a high RPM, performance engine doesn't allow the use of Syn oil, especialy since NA 4TEC engines do allow it. After doing some research a few sites ( I found that it is because of the ceramic washer that is used in the SC clutch. Is this true? Because I am planning on replacing them with the steel washers (which I just learned about recently) this winter and if that is the case then I should be able to use Syn oil in the future because of the lack of the ceramic washer.

Just looking for anyone who has more information about this than me.
