A bit of water injestion.
I swapped props today while pulling the pump with the ski in the water with the ass end sitting on a life vest. The parking sucked & I wasn't gonna lose my spot 20 feet from where I was camped.
Anyway, all went good but when I put the pump back on it seemed perty damn snug like it didn't want to seat all the way but it did. When I put the tools away & went back to fire up the ski it was sitting low in the water, popped the seat & it was filling up. It was below the SC so I fired it up to get it to the ramp & was ready to give up my parking spot & take her out of the water but it filled up even faster. It sputtered & I knew it was too late. Water was in the IC & my 4" tube was filled too. I blew all the water out of the cyls & ran 3/4 tank through it & it runs fine now. I found that the carbon ring was letting water pour in like a faucet. There was water in the splines on the prop & that water pushed in the shaft about 1/2". So, do I take the sc out & go through it & grease her up? What else? Fog the ski I know that.
Sorry for the long post but I had to explain my phuk up.
BTW 13/18 3 blade tweaked to 14/18 is baddass!!

the SC is lubricated by engine oil, if no water was in the oil I can't think of a reason to do anything to it since you have already ran 3/4 tank of gas through it.
