I put both my '96 Polaris SLT 780 in the water today. Pulled one jetski behind the other one. After 2 minutes in the water, the one jetski I was on (which is the one I was pulling the other one with) started to sputter and I noticed the MFD (multifunctional display) quit working at the same time. It seems that the ski won't go past 20 mph. Also, the one I was one, is also using mixed gas. Any suggestions....THANKS FOR ANY HELP..

Welcome to the Hulk. Check your ground wire and batt cables for a tight and clean connection. Open the elec box, inspect for water present, corrosion, and see if the fuse blew for the MFD. More importantly than speed, what is the max RPM you can now reach? If it's 4200 RPM, you are most likely going into limp mode. Start with these test first and let us know what you find.
