    07 RXT..Intercooler Upgrade

Was thinking about upgrading the intercooler. Question: What else would I have to replace? some say fuel injectors, rear exhaust, or both or none of the above. What is it????

Oh yeah...another question: Which intercooler should I go with? Riva, Piranha or ROTAX?

you will need to remove OPAS, install the water strainer and change the prop for the additional power, this mod is one of the most noticable mods you can do IMHO I would go with the Piranha, I have the Riva but there quality sucks

You do not need to change the injectors when going with an intercooler.

I disagree with quality, Riva is top notch. Fits right the first time and out performs Rotax Racing.
Piranha is my second choice and performance is equal to that of the Riva.

I have to agree that Riva is top notch. Anyway, Riva claims I have to install the thru-hull exhaust if I install their intercooler? Do I really have too...cause I would prefer to keep my training wheels (OPAS).

You need the room for the IC. You'll like the thru hull, and you won't notice much of a difference without the OPAS for whatever reason you like them.

No you don't have to go to a thru hull exhaust and you do not have to remove the OPAS. On the RXT you have to remove the exhaust resonator on the right lower side of the ski to make room and replace it with a 2 1/2 piece of exhaust pipe with a 90 degree bend for the waterbox exhaust hose. There is plenty of room for the IC and OPAS. I just did this on my RXT.

Seems like you have done a few mods on your RXT.

Do you have any notes you could share with us.

    4 inch intake
    Thru the hull
    and Intercooler

    Thanks
    Scott
