R&D Intake Grate Hanging Below hull 1/8" - RXP

Can someone send me some pics of how their grate looks when installed? Mine sits about 1/8" below the ride plate (proud of the hull).

    My email is [email protected].

    Thanx,

    Eric

    Jerry,

Just blend the endges or the entire surface? Trying to get between the grates is a tough one.

    Thanks!

    Jerry,

We need another section on the forums on "How to Fix aftermarket parts you just spent alot of money on".

Aftermarket suppliers make some nice parts, except that many aren't finished when they get to you.

Well, it's not the manufacturer of the grates problem. Your pump shoe was installed 1/8" lower than normal from the factory

My first 04 RXP was the same way.

Now that makes me feel better

Did the deed, looks good now. Had to file the small bolt head a bit as they stand a little proud now.
