    Cavitation burns (pics)

If you were curious this is what cavitation burns look like. I am sure if I left it alone it would of burned a hole through the prop. Marks are on all three blades @ 12,4 and 8 (clock positions).

I had already added a PPK and R&D Intake grate to the ski and just now got around to adding the prop.

FA's,Cut head, Reed stuffers are next.

Make sure you use Yamabond between the impeller housing and the transom plate, especially around the 10mm bolt hole in the 7 o'clock position. It's a source of air, which you'll notice by a persistent burn mark on your impeller housing at 7 o'clock. Ever since I started sealing everything up consistently, I've had no more problems with burn on the liner or the prop.
