RXP Supercharger axis crashed in 2 pieces..
hi guys.. i was riding my almost stock ski, about 30 minutes, rpm's was ok ~8100 rpm, and suddenly they dropped to maximum ~6300 rpm, i thought my supercharger clutch went off (there were homemade metal washers). i got back to shore. the motor was running without problem (only low rpms due to supercharger loss) then i told my father to try it, and it don't started anymore.. when we came back, we saw that (look at the pictures).. and everything else i think is in engine (will put it all out soon). what should i check? is it enough to buy oem supercharger rebuild kit to fix my supercharger? thanks.

looks like the homemade washers were'nt providing any slip at all.....look for the gear, needle bearings and washers, i am sure its all laying down in the motor somewhere.
we cant cut corners here guys, the darn washers are only $90, you bought a $10k plus ski, i am sure you can afford it......

i was riding with these metal washers ~25 hours, then i changed my impeller to solas 13/18 and put riva intake grate, and cavitation was gone, i think then the washers got more pressure when i was holeshoting and they didn't hold it..and boom. btw i changed my oil to motul 4 stroke from BRP 4 stroke..maybe the oil weren't right for the supercharger and where was too hot? i was hearing like a sand rolling somewhere in ski before..

i agree with meeper i don't think your homemade washers were up to snuff, and i don't think the prop and intake grate had anything to do with it....

yes, i agree with you guys, homemade metal washers screwed it all, so i think now i need to clean my motor and buy supercharger rebuild kit for 370$ from jerry to repair that, yes?

might as well do the 06-07 spec since it looks like your riding and 05 ski....

Homemade washers or HomeDepot washers?...did you really craft them yourself from raw steel?

no, i took them from supporting bearing, and changed them a little, they were identical in shape to ceramic ones..
