3M #08984 general purpose adhesive remover, plastic razor blades, and a heat gun.

i pulled a bunch of the decals off of my 750 and it took forever to do. used mainly my figernails, a nickle (cause of its square edge, worked pretty well) and some goof off to finish it off. worked well, but took forever. if i had a heat gun I would have definatly used that.

I've seen those decal romoval tools used before - in a die grinder at lower speed for automotive decal removal.
They work fairly well, but you will still need to do some polishing afterwords 'cause they do scuff the finish a bit.
After polishing, the end result is no more decal and a shiny surface, so how bad could it be?

Heat gun (as mentioned earlier) and WD40 works to get the left over glue off (I own a sign business, that's what we use to remove the goo left over).

goto parts store and get a scapper with the razor blade in it. it's got a handle like a long screwdriver it works great. just get the right angle and they slice right off. i cleaned up old adhesive residue with brake cleaner. left a nice smooth surface.
