anyone use LUCAS oil treatment?
just wondering if using the lucas oil stabilizer would hurt the s/c clutch?? i use it in my detroit diesel and a few other gasoline engines ( pick-up, bikes, mower ect...) i dont think it would cause it to slip but i know it would help to lubricate the bearings better..

That Lucas oil treatment is badasssss stuff, I `ve used it myself in other applications, but IMHO I don`t think it`s a good idea to add anything to the oil in our 4-tecs. A good brand and timely oil changes are best for our ski`s, just my 2 cents...
Lucas oil stabilizer does make the oil more tacky, stick to metal surfaces and create a stronger film but with the type of oil pressure regulator and oil jets in our 4 tecs along with the tolerances and the exccessive RPM`s I`d be a little leary of it`s use...PR...

I used it in a car with 75,000 miles. It made a cold knock (only during start up) knock ALOT louder.
I changed it out back to reg. oil and the knock went back to "normal"
t put that stuff in a junk lawnmower. my .02
