Why don't you contact Steve. I'm sure you paid good money for his kit. He should be the one who could help you.

What does it rev to out of water?? I have the same kit so I might be able to help. Check your fuel lines and make sure they are clean. Also, check your compression, which heads did you get (r&d,ada, or skiworx)? Are there any noises comming from the pump that sound like they are humming?

I just remembered,,, may be a stupid question, did you take the carbs off, did you line up the slots in the air box rings with the slots in the carbs ?? if not your slides wont open and you will be down rpms, I beleive I was down to exactly 6K when I did this...

all i can say is, you the man, tou saved the day. i think at least. about 9.30 i saw the message, read the shop manual and saw what you were talkung about. sure as shit the middle cyl and the pto cyl had the flame arrester holders on backwards, so the slide was not opening. too late to test it will test it tommorow.

    a million thank you's.

Glad I could help, if 2 of 3 cylinders had the rings on backwards i'm sure that was your problem.
