Need serious brainstorm! Fuel sensor SLT750 problems
Ok, heres the deal...ever since Ive had my '95 SLT750, the MFD always read low fuel. As of this weekend, I had a minor acceleration problem, so as always I just tore into it and fixed the problem (spark wire pulled out almost all the way from the boot). While in there, I took out the fuel sending unit, and tested it. All resistances match up with the specs, and I was about to put it up, but decided to take the foat out and make sure it worked proplerly. The float no floatie float. So, either spend a rediculous amount for a new one, or come up with another idea. What could I put under the float in the sensor to make it float?
