Not Starting!-Problem Solved!
I took my 96 wave raider out and rode around for about 1 hr and turned it off and when i tried to start it it wouldnt, it will not even make a sound like its trying to start
and before i tried to launch it i relized i left the gas tank open in the engine compartment b/c i was siphoning out old gas and i forgot to put the lid back on so i had a couple gallons of gas sitting in the bottom of the hull for 2hr MAX and then i drained it ASAP would this have caused it or have anything to do with it?

if with jumpers.. i'd say take your battery off if its not making a sound, and not trying at all... or doing anything its a battery problem if you have your lanyard on.. and you push the green button and it doesnt make 1 sound, its battery. Buy a new battery, and or take yours out check the water in it... and trickle charge it for a day. then put it back on and try it... post what happens.

Look at the starter conections then.
You can try jumping at the starter it should crank

Check the fuse and fuse holder out. The wire breaks off at the fuse holder sometimes.
Its part number 1 in the pic.

The lanyard switches fail sometimes too, same symptoms.

how do i check the water? its a adventure power battery and now that i think about it when i bought it they did say that it sat for a year w/o it being ran and it did have some bad/old gas so i put in some carb cleaner since it sat so long
i can charge it w/ a car charger, right?
and wouldnt it still start if i had it hooked up to jumper cables?

Ok I Took It In Today And And Them Check It Out And It Was At 180 And Is Supposed To Be At 250 Cranking Amps
So Now Its Being Charged And We Will See If It Will Work If Not Ill Be Buying A New Battery And Hoping Thats All It Is

ok i got it fixed for less than $60
replaced the battery-$50
it turned out to be the wire connectors that ran from the starter solonoid/ relay to the start button
i cut the wires together and it started right up lol
what size of fuse does it take? it had a 20A in it but the spare was a 10A which one is the correct size?
thanks for all of your help
