    Chamfering ports- any tips?

How would you chamfer the ports on a 780 cyl easily? Too small a bore to get hand in there, let alone work. Thanks

and a conical stone so you don't have to angle the grinder too much

I prefer using a plain die-grinder (small one at that) and use a long 3" conical bit.

I never have any good luck with a 90 degree grinder while chamfering.

I just picked up two cylinders I had bored and it doesnt look like they chamfered the ports at all! It looks as if they just took a bur removing tool and scraped around the ports. What should they look like when they are done? I have a 700 SLTH.

there should be a SMALL! bevvelled edge on the ports, otherwise your rings will catch.
I ate a set of Honda ATC250R rings after a port job because I didn't no better.

Thanks for the offer Axg, but they're mounted now. Rodneyae, did you ever get the third cyl ported to match the other 2?
