I don't know what model it is but the one at the local shop here is the worst looking ski I have ever seen on a showroom.

ok, now this is lame. i'm quoting someone on this site talking about the best features of the 08's.
"No one has mentioned this yet but one of the best features on all new 08 Sea-doo's is the elimination of the constant triple beep when you turn the engine off with the lanyard still in. It will beep once then be silent for 10 minutes then it will beep till you pull the lanyard."

WOW! now thats what i want to see on a new Doo!. come on, get real. there have to be better things that Doo can do there machines than this for a new model.

The sad thing is that sales drive the direction the companies are going in.
There isn't enough market for the x-4 size skis anymore(I wish there was).

I agree. Have been on the bigger models and still prefer my X4.

They are too comfortable, like dad's old station wagon with a hemi under the hood. Great for the whole family. Grrrr.

Hell I love my little ole X-4, but give me a break, Your kidding Right?
I ride that thing in the early morning or late evening as to have smooth water. It bets the hell out of me. I think the RXP is Great for most water conditions even the RXT. More people, or families want to go out and ride on a good cruise and have fun. Manufactures can't make money if the produce things that wont sell enough to keep them in bussiness. Remember most of us are not the average guy. Heck I even like the New bigger more comfy ski's....

It is all in demand. The average Joe wants and demands Speed and comfort.

i agree, but they shouldn't shun the "real" riders. maybe they should do some limited production stuff like they did in 95' with the 800?

"Real riders" Don't make me laugh! Come out with me - we'll do a 200 mile day with your little X-4 and we'll see who the real rider is.

I owned an X-4 too. Guess what? I gave it up and became a "real rider",

Not somebody who rides out of the inlet, jumps 3 waves, gets about 1 foot in the air, breaks a motor mount and goes home for the weekend.

This sport has passed you by, my friend- you are the micro minority and nobody (especially Sea-Doo) cares what you want.

Tell ya what if you're so hardcore... Yamaha makes a standup for ya.

People like what they like- no need to insult anyone like you did. PWC Today sounds like it's more your speed.

If you want a hardcore ride and want to really carve and do tricks.......get a superjet. An X-4 is a couch compared to a superjet.

That's what I'm sayin'! I don't even think there are any "beeps" when you connect the lanyard on a Superjet.
