What are your rpms and speeds now? A moddified plate will help you at least a couple mph or more. Then you could look at better reeds good for 1mph. Depending on what squish and compression you have now, you could have the head moddified more. Just throwing some ideas out there.

Well I am going to guess you have a standard Riva Stage 2 Kit.

I would get the plate modded by Jim 1300 or Island Racing. You can find them on the board under those names.

You could also upgrade the reeds from the stocks with the stuffers. Go with VF3's. You can buy those from Fercho or Island Racing.

If you want more gain than about 2 - 4 mph (thats about what those two mods will give you) you can get the cylinders ported or go big bore. Contact Lowell or Tim Judge for more info on porting or big bore.

    Edit:

Also I did just notice you have a 1200r. You could go with 1300R Cylinders, Pistons, Head, Ect.. That could be a decent gain for cheap.

if you go any higher than a 1300 like a 1390, 1400's or 1500's your looking at like an 6k engine cause you have to get it stroked meaning in the pistons.. and its alotta money but more power...

6k including new gaskets, reeds, pistons, ported/bored cylinders, milled head... the whole thing.. sorry for not explaining I once talked to lowell about getting my whole engine pretty much completely re-done and it added up to a high number... sorry for me not adding that.

Not true. There are only a couple engines that I know of that are stroked, on the other hand there are many big bores running around. And they are not even close to 8k.

I would say it would be high for brand new parts and motor but no way 8k for a 1390 setup on your current.

What intake grate are you using?

A high pressure pump and a 14/20 Dynafly will be cool once you get the V-Force reeds

Let us know your mods and speeds and what you are looking for.
