    Dealership 10 hr service cost!

    I live in Dallas TX and I need to get a 10 hr service done! Ths Cheapest I found was 150.00 is this about right?

    Sounds about right. People on here will tell you to just do it yourself, but I think with shop rates being close to $80/hour your $150 is fair with costs of filter, fluids, and small stuff.

    Oh yeah, and I've read posts where they are as high as almost 3 bills.

    You can get an Oil Boy online. Just type "oil boy" in a Google search. You can get a drill powered extractor from West Marine. I bought one, but I haven't tried it yet. So I can't tell you which is better.

    West Marine has a pump oil extractor on sale this week for $49.95...big $8 off list. It is made by Tempo.

    $220 at yacht club marina at the lake of the ozarks. they'll never get my business. that's a pretty pricy oil change.

    I made my dealer throw in the first service as part of the deal when I bought my boats. From the sounds of it,I think I got the better end of that deal

    My 10 hr was 86.00, but I have heard of people paying a lot higher than 150.00.
