    Question Help with Raider left turn bog & carb settings

    What's the deal with the Raider 1100 wanting to die when turning left and how can it be fixed? Also, what are the stock carb settings? What needs to be done when adding a R&D power plenum?

    '95 Raider 1100 w/ chokes removed, primer, 50:1 premix, front cooling line tee to pisser, protec grate are only mods I know of. (R&D power plenum not installed yet)

    Thumbs up problem/cure

    The probles is that the jet/fuel side of the carbs is locater left to right on the carbs and the fuel starves the jets by fuel going away from the jets in a hard turn (G force), The cure is to turn the carbs 90 degrees with a special intake manifold that pro-tec made for this problem and change carb linkage to match. I also here you can put a fuel line restricter ( avalible from Riva) in the return line to help boost the fuel pressure and helps a lot. You might want to try that first since the restricter cost is a lot cheeper than the manifold/carb fix. Raider 1100 oem carb specs stock air filter from yamaha service manuel 107.5 main jet front and rear carb, # 95 main jet on center carb.,# 75 pilot jet on ALL carbs, low speed adj. 1 turn from seated + or - 1/4 turn, high speed adj. 5/8 + or - 1/4 from seated, You might want to try an extra 1/4 to 1/2 turn out on the high speed adj. if you change air filter.     no sorry. And the intake is ported out to 48mm i'm pretty sure..overkill for you. I need to throw all my crap up on ebay when i get time, maybe i'll get 20 bux for it..

    Anybody know of a intake & linkage for the stock 38's?
