Okay another finding. I having a little fuel puddling in the flame arrestor on #3 carb and spraying on the side of the hull in front of that carb. I talked to Duke and he suggested maybe a reed failure. Well I got to looking at the head on #3 a little closer and I found some very small pits like the size of grains of sand hit it. Take a close look at the pictures and see what you think.

Do you know if those pits were there before ? Are they new

Those pits are interesting and coincedental with the fuel issue on number 3

Heads are new and looked fine when richard and I pulled at 20 hours. They have about 35 hours total now.

The heads are new (post disaster in March). I think he has about 40 hours on the rebuild.
Damn Dome, I thought you were off the forum.
