Loss of power
Ok I suked a rock. It wedged in the impeller. It took me over an hr to pry it out. After out ski runs but lost around 6 miles an hr and around 400 rpm. Could that be caused by the impeller being out of whack from the rock. Impeller has some rough edges now but no real noticable damage. Also how much improvement would filling the ride plate holes do? I hear alot of people doing it but have not found any real numbers yet. Thanks in advance

okay, first things first, the wear ring is probably TOAST....2nd, if the blades are bend (which you can't see by looking at it in the pump) then that there is another reason for your RPM loss....Remove the prop, clean it up, bend the blades back into their proper place...and replace the wear ring.
DO THAT before anything else....
As for ride plate holes, they gain about 1/2 mph roughly...depending on rider/water conditions/fuel load/stock market/weather in antarctica/etc....
