Need some advice on a 07 GP1300R
I'm new to the forum after recently picking up a new GPR. I have my ski in the shop at Riva after siezing one of the cylinders. They told me there was air in the oil line which caused the second cylinder to lean out. Luckily the warranty is covering the rebuild. My question is do I need to add extra oil to the fuel and give it a break-in period?
Also, I am having them install some aftermarket upgrades:
Riva ride plate
Riva intake grate
Pump seal kit
I held off on the head kit since I am assuming it will void my extended warranty. Will anything else in my list of upgrades give me warranty problems?

You are going to have to do some engine work to turn the 14/20 prop.

Like Jeff said, you need more motor to turn that 14/20 well or it will be sluggish. I would recommend not doing the reed stuffers and do the VF3 reeds with the spacer plate instead. This may give you enough to turn the 14/20, if not you will need to add a head.

Are you guys sure about that? My 07 has everything Riva is installing on his boat (except reed stuffers, mine are stock) andI turn that 14/20 at 7000 rpm at 71 mph in 105 air temp. Just got off the water and its not sluggish at all. In fact, the prop was the last thing installed and it alone took my speed from 67 to 71 mph back to back testing. I was really suprised.

Mines can get up to 70ish with my 14 20 prop in about 10 min lol... Till I do the heads, Vf3s, efi, and some power filter they tell me I need... Waves have been so nice here on Long Island I dont wanna bring it in till the seasons up.

In 97, RIVA installed some RIVA components on the GP that I bought there. They said right from the get go that they would warrenty the boat. I'm sure that they will do the same for you.
Installing a RIVA head(s) and putting on VFIII's will wake that boat right up. This should be a no brainer.

14/20 = no go with out motor mods.
I would toss on a head and some VF3's. That should make it run 7150ish.
