    TOLUENE

What do some of you think (2 GL's per 16GL tank of gas) good-bad?

No need if you are already running the high octane pump gas. It would be good to carry some around so you can bump up your 89 octane marine gas.

    (Gas Octane X Quantity) + (120 X Toluene Qty)
    Divided by
Total qty of toluene and gasoline
equals overall octane in your tank

Someone told me that you need to add transmission fluid to the toluene, but I do not remember where I heard that?

just a couple ounces, or you can use diesel fuel, this is to add the cleaning properties that are "water downed" when mixing large amounts of toluene.

Yes..we usually use 1 gallon of Toulene or Xylene to 4 gallons of 93 octane. 1 ounce of Marvel's mystery oil or diesel . Brings the octane # up to around 100 octane. Works great when you don't have race gas available.
