Rotax HD Engine Mount
For those of you who have installed this:
Will it go in without removing the engine?

i havent installed it yet but just by looking it will go in with the engine in tehe ski, you will just need to find a way to hold up the engine, it wont be taht heavy maybe just get a couple of people, one on each side holding it while you swap the mount out

Gotcha, thanks. Keep us posted on how it goes...Would certainly love to know any potential pitfalls before I decide to get one...

tire jack wouldnt fit. u can use a good ratchet/ cargo strap and lift the
front of the motor that way of get a chain fall. lifting the motror
is poss by hand but it is sorta heavy. way 2 heavy to remove the engine by hand without at least 2 peeps helping. I tryed it I diddnt work out for me.

Ratchet is a good idea. I wonder if you could ratchet it to the side of lip of the hull

Just use a come-along or something like that and ratchet it up to a exposed beam, engine lift, etc...Worst case scenario pull the ski up under some oak tree or something with some hefty limbs and ratchet it to that...
Probably wouldn't have to (nor want to) ratchet it up very much to avoid damaging the other ones. Just enough to get the stock one out and bolt the existing one in...

Tree limb sounds good. I have one I hang my punching bag from.
I'd like to replace this before I go to the 3 blade.
