    Going Pre-mix....Question

    Hello,

I was wondering if it would be okay to just remove the oil pump gear and bushing then reinstall the pump as a block-off plate? At least untill I get around to ordering a block-off kit

    Thanks

I used the pump as a block off plate...works fine for me. After running out of gas twice in one day I converted my oil tank to a reserve tank with a WSM 3 position fuel selector. Now I've got to figure out if I can disable "limp" mode for everything but temp.

Remove the gear and bushing and you could. But it's really easy to make your own block off plate. And you can remove the oil tank, but you will need to relocate the spring that helps hold the hood rod open.
