New wear ring and prop straightened

My ski needs a new wear ring and the prop to be ground and pitched. My dealer wants 245.55 plus tax. Is this a fair price?

    New wear ring = $50+-

Send the prop off the impros for the repitch, or send it to Jerry

    +-$50

    Rest is just labor.

Learn how to pull your pump off and save yourself $150

Ridiculous expensive. Take it off yourself, take the pump up to the shop and they can put in the wear ringand ground the impeller, should bu just under a hundred. They are charging you 150 to pull off eight screws to get the pump out.

    Just went through this myself.

what it came down to for me was take a day off of work, and do it myself and possibly not be able to use the ski over the weekend or suck it up and pay the dealer good money and have my ski back in under 24 hours. I chose the dealer route.

if it was Monday and this happened I would have chosen doing it myself

I would love to try this myself. I am new to the area and new to skis. I have alot of experi. on hot rods and this is seems the same. I don't know anyone out here yet and thus can't have a case of beer while fixxing the ski party yet. One day.
P.S. got the ski back paid them headhunters thier price. Ski is improved greatly but it chaps my arse paying them those cost. Oh well will be out all weekend on tims ford or maybe try to goto cumberland river in Nashville and catch the music fest on the river.

There are instructions on this site and on Riva.

Haven't found instructions for the impeller which leads me to believe it is relatively easy.
