Exclamation need help *gpr* aftermarket bilge install..

hi, i just got my new aftermarket bilge pump... and want to install it into my ski. But I need help, I dont no where to put place it. I searched around on the site and didnt find what i was looking for.. I also want to keep my stock bilge installed, so i have that bilge for when its runnning.. and this one for when its off, but i need water out. Im doing this becaues I've had water come in my ski.. but fixed the problem, and had to completely pull my ski out of the water, to get the water out.. and then put it back in... anyway you get the point.

I need to know where to install my unit.

How to install it ( wiring, hoses..etc.)

and would like pictures very much.. i actually need pictures to get my through it...

    please help..

YOU do not need pictures. I "scuffed" up my hull and used 3M 5200 to glue mine to the inside of the hull. The easiest place is next to the shaft coupler on the opposite side of the factory strainer. I know many here will say to buy or make a bracket, but mine has been were I glued it in for 6 years.
As for connecting, I ran mine out the side of my ski next to my leg so if it started dumping water, I would know it. It isn't the greatest looking place, but again, I know when I have water in my ski. As for the electrical, follow the instructions on the packaging and you will be fine. I mounted my switch on the cowling by the seat. I did the same thing on a friend's boat so give me a minute and I will find a picture.

    Rule bilge pump install installation

    1. clean the hull
    2. scuff it well
    3. affix location
    4. apply 4200 or 5200 fast cure to the screen (w/o pump)
    5. let sit over night
    6. apply pump
    7. run wires and plumbing
    8. OEM bilge still in place

I've always found the "water analogy as an effective way to understand a simple serial dc circuit such as your bilge pump.

    Here is a diagram.
    http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu...ic/watcir.html

Understand that the "R" in the right circuit would be the bilge pump in your ski.

Yes, drill a hole in your hull, up high, for the bilge exit, OR you can use the stock siphon tube, as long as you have a loop going from the bottom of the hull to the top, and back down to the bottom.

Put the exit so that it doesn't interfere with your exhaust.

Riva used to make a nice bracket.

Some of us run the plumbing out under the grab handle (Right above the Sound Suppression box). Here is the exterior of mine.

I bought mine from Carl @ Island Racing. I am pretty sure you can get them here @ the Online Store.
