    Pump shoe bracket qustion

Hi, I was wondering I ordered new brackets to screw my pump shoe bolts into because one is spinning.. I have planned with some friends to go out and ski friday... and the brackets were shipped today.. if for some reason they didnt come in time, could i just put silicone around the bracket thats spinning... and screw it in?! Im just going out for a day.. no more than 4 hours, and even that im not gonna be driving the whole time.

Will it be ok if i had to at last resort to just silicone the spinning bracket? just for one day?! is that ok to do..?! or no? Im also putting a pump seal in tommorow.. if that has anything to do with it.

You will need to hold the spining insert with pliers. Use a little antiseize on the bolt, a little silicone around the insert to prevent leaks won't hurt but you will have to remove it later. What kind of replacement bracket did you order?

Did you do the pump plug kit with 5200 so your pump shoe is located firmly? The reason I ask is because it probably won't leak if its sealed. Also it will help locate the inserts when you put them in there.
