    Riva Catch can questions

How many of you guys are running the Riva can and how do you have it hooked up?

I just put one on the GTX and the hose comes out of the can and curls down and then comes up again into the engine as per instructions, as opposed the way it looks like it was designed with the newer set-up connecting on the back of the engine.
imho, it would have been better to have the barb for the hose facing forward on the GTX...
the hose is resting on the exhaust manifold, is this ok? no way to hold it off of the exhaust manifold...PR...

    PR,

I have mine the same as you described but kinda looped it ontop of the fuel tank so it is kinda pinched by the can but not. THe only thing about where it is placed you might want to bend the bracket a little as it rubs up against the hull, atleast on my RXP. I like it but have not had a drop in it even when I was a little over full on oil once. Other than that it is doing its job.

    Andy,

I didn't like the hose routing since my 04 is up front as well. Mine is actually secured to the fuel filler hose in the front of the ski. Straight shot, easy to empty. Been like that all summer with no problems.
