    Altitude: 530 ft.
    Air temp: 64
    Water temp: 71
    Approx Humidity: 27%
    Fuel level: 1 bar

    Max warm RPM: 8250

Notes: Prop was a little too much for the ski. RPMs climbed slowly.

Today with only the reflashed RR ECU added:

    Date: March 25th 2006
    Mods:
Rotax Racing Reflashed ECU & IC, Riva Grate, PPG Opas blockoffs, Worx sponsons(down), Vortech SC Impeller, PPG Power Pipe, Bruce's SS Wear Ring, Jerry's Air Mod, Jerry's Ride Plate mod, Jerry's Reverse Bucket mod
    Altitude: 530 ft.
    Air Temp: 70
    Water Temp: 62
    Approx Humidity: 59%
    Fuel Level: 3 bars
    Oil Level: 3/4 on notch
    Prop: Impros repitch Solas 14/20
    Max warm RPM: 8400
    Top Speed: 76.3 MPH
    Rider Weight: 315lb
    Rider Position: Crouched
Notes: Water was too choppy to safely Superman. Warmer and more humid than last run. Ski now feels underpropped with RPMs jumping to 8150 when throttle is pegged and hitting (and holding) 8400 RPM fast. I feel like with same conditions as the previous run I could have gotten close to (or hit) 77 MPH.

My conclusion: Reflash is worth the cash definitely. Ski hits much harder now and pulls hard through the whole powerband. 2 MPH top end improvement. Maybe more with diff prop. I'm very happy with it.

Jerry, do you think a similarly pitched 15/20R would yield better results?

Oh yeah, thanks to Mark and Jerry for making this thing happen

Jarrett, you have now graduated to a 15/20. With this prop you will gain an additional 1-1.5 mph

    Sweet.

    Frank, what you doing tomorrow?

Are there two 15/20 props? A 15/20 and 15/20R? Or are they all the same.

Also, I realized later that I forgot to take my gloves out of the top glove box, so they were wrapped around my K&R. I wonder if that will change anything on the next run.

So now I am thinking try the 15/20, then some skegs, then the new RR SC impeller, then I am ready for da Bug

Dude. I have a 15/20 sitting in a pump on the floor in my garage. And the wife just called to cancel our dinner date to hang out with her girl friends. That means I have an excuse to do my own thing tomorrow I'll get that thing over 77 without a doubt. . Can you say 79

AWSOME! you guys give me a call tomorrow with your results. You might have to take 1mm out of the trailing edge of that 15/20 to get the R's up to 8400 (maybe not though) Just have to try it and see.

Call me tomorrow with the results.

I talked to Franko. If all goes well, we will test the 15/20R on my ski and hopefully have time to test out the Riva wedge and the R&D Steering Nozzle tomorrow. Hopefully some combo will yield better numbers. I know that just by Frank driving the ski will add 1.2 MPH or so
