    Plastic Tube removal ?

Are you guys removing the big plastic tube that goes from the opening under the handle bars assembly(glove box area) all the way down to the front of the hull near the battery ? Im not sure what this does exactly but it looks like fresh air could come through there or for that matter let some hot air out.

Thats how fresh air is suppose to feed the entire motor...Its a noise suppressor intake, very restrictive...Remove the WHOLE assembley and you will gain a little RPM...

Water is getting in regardless wether the tube is in place or not. I noticed today as I was washing my ski the water that goes in that tube goes down and out near the battery via a small opening. So basically the water was going to the front of the hull.

I removed the one up front and the one under the backseat... Seems hard for air to travel down the tubes... Havent really felt a big difference...

As far as feeling a difference, i dont think that you would feel something like this, perhaps the engine compartment could be cooler , or maybe getting just a bit more air through there but your not going to notice anything,
what ever gains if any might only be a few rpm's
