    MSX110 mod to upper 150

    Hi guys,

I'm on a project for my MSx, the first thing I've done is to buy a dump valve and the 150 msx ecu, Im going to change the intercooler but as the oem part is too expensive, I've buy an air to water intercooler on ebay like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LIQUI...spagenameZWDVW

    but mine XO2 racing.

Next step is to fit the intercooler in the pwc, I should send some pictures and the method, I'll be using when good, there's not a lot of space!!

But before as I have some few problems with my boat to fix, rpm limit (maybe bad fuel or bad sensor).

If everything works properly after installation, I will try to find or do it by myself the ecu remap, to get an highter rpm limit and more horsepower by allowing more boost pressure.(by using a kwp2000+ and a remapping software)

For your information the msx ECU is a Bosch Me.7.4.4, which is available in some european cars peugeot/citroen, so a remap must be possible.

    Yours advises will be helpfull!

    Thanks and great forum!

    David Welcome to the Hulk.
I look forward to following along with your project. I will move it to the project section if you would like. Or start a new thread about your project.

Hello MSX, I'd also like to say WELCOME to the Green Hulk Forums!!!
Try to PM 4strokepolaris and see what he has to say. They are doing 150 kits with some minor mods.

Yeah, get with Jay and Richie. They were just messing with a 110 a little bit this weekend. Changing it up with a 150 ECU and all.
Watch that corrosion... it can be nasty.

    Talking

    I'll take some pics today

First I want a biggest intercooler than the stock msx150, for more fresh air and more power, I've heard you can take about 200hp of that engine, it's like a first stage mod that I'm doing, second stage is to remap ecu, and maybe mod the exhaust system for finish, injectors in the future if not enough power!

What is important for me now is to install the intercooler...

what are the components of 4strokepolaris kit?

and to avoid problems of corrosion, I put some WD40 after each use!

Does anyone know if the Hydrospace parts would fit in the MSX hull? And of course, layout would need to be right.

if you change the controll harness for an hydrospace maybe, or find a connector and make the wires by yourself, but you'll have to make some mods too!

I think silicone hoses won't fit right, degree not the same, water connection not at the right place!

expensive but the result maybe very good
