Its a Yamaha GPR hull with an RXP motor in it, hence GPRXP....Straight swap will yield an 80mph ski with no mods...Crazy mods will put you at 92mph, just like GreenHulk himself

Its the power to weight ratio and the gpr hull seems to be very good for high speeds.

not so much the weight, more so the design of the hull. The yammi hull needs less power to reach the same speed.

Its not the weight difference that gets the higher speed ... it is the GPR hull. It is more efficient, far less drag, ESPECIALLY after you get a custom cut ride plate, do the tabs right, mess with the intake grate, etc. Far less drag, much better hydrodynamics.

the hybrid is 10-12 mph faster than a stock rxp and approximately 13-18 mph faster than a bone stock 1200R and 12-14 MPH faster than a 1300R

The GPR hull is a more efficient hull and glides better thru the water. A bone stock RXP engine in a GPR hull will easily make it do 80 mph.
I have a modified RXP engine in my GPR hull and it will run 91+ MPH all day long
