Does your RXP leak?
Does your RXP leak, if not, you better check.
There are now 2 skis leaking in the exact same locations.
This is the through hull carrier, it's glassed in to the ski, you can not replace it.
Is is right under the muffler. It's seeping through the glass. The RXP has a double hull. It's coming in through the carrier inbetween the 2 hulls then seeping through a week spot inside the hull. Basically I now have a water logged hull. The only way to get all the water out is to drill holes into my ski.
You can test yours by filling you hull up with some water, just up to the carbon ring. Stay under this ring and watch it for a day. If you have the leak you'll see a drip come through the hull carrier just like the first picture above.
My dealer used a dremmel an cut a groove around the hull and carrier then filled it with some epoxy. 2 rides later the epoxy cracked and once again it's leaking. Here's the shoddy patch job:
It's time to call sea doo and my dealer.

The legendary seadoo build quality, it's just as outrageous as 97 GPs and 02 STXRs falling appart.
10k for a TOY that leaks.

Now that there are 2 skis with the same leak it may be too early to say we found a pattern but maybe we did. Besides the leaking, we also both have some serious cracks in the shoe around the carrier.
You can see the same crack in the photo above also in the upper right area of the photo below.
This is pretty frustrating for the both of us. Hopefully sea doo will be on our side instead of fighting us. I am going to push for a new hull but would entertain any solution they may offer.
I really suggest all rxp owners check their skis!

This is from frank:
Analysis of our hull leak found this:
We found that under the driveshaft coupler seal the fiberglass is broken(actually it was never sealled properly from the factory). We took it apart and showed the dealer and they are fixing it. Ya, we took a Stage 3 RXP to the dealer and they are going to warranty the hull. If the fiberglass repair fails the dealer said the will push for a new hull.

And who is paying for these cracks? If still under warranty, what is Bombardier saying? or paying?

Well i haven't called my dealer yet, they are closed today, sea doo is paying for it, warranty.

Good to hear...I've got 2 more years on warranty. Is that right? If you get the BEST, it's a total of 3?

Well default warranty is 1 year. I got mine during a special where i got an extra year. You can add more years, up to 3 i think.
