    UMI Throttle Trigger

I bought a UMI Straight Throttle Trigger for my RXP and tried to get it to work. It just doesn't provide enough pull with the handle grip on to get WOT.

you have to adjust it at the throttle body.

in fact, everyone should check their adjustment on their skis to ensure you are getting WOT, even if its stock.

Should there be any play or snug to the point where it doesn't affect the idle?

just ensure you are getting WOT. Hold your throttle lever down all the way and then try and turn the throttle body all the way open. If it is already open all the way then you don't have an adjustment problem.

you don't want to adjust it so much that it affects the idle. just play around with it and you will get it right.

Jerry, so once you have adjusted the throttle do you just tighten it or do you need to use blue loctite on it before you tighten it How did you do it

I did that.....there still isn't enough pull. If you adjust it so it goes WOT then its off the idle stop.

joe, the nut is just a lock nut. you must loosen it then adjust the cable. once its adjusted properly tighten the lock nut back down.
