    Gp760 to 1200 conversion, how do I?

    I've searched but couldn't find any info. I've got a '98 GP760.

    How involved is this conversion?

    Can someone tell me what parts are needed?

    Motor carbs exhaust ignition and pump
    Easy if you have all the parts.

    Motor mounts the same? The mounts themselves and location on the hull?

    I have never looked in a 760 but the 1200 mount location should be forward of the 760s.(2 cyl-3 cyl)
    Look in the hull at the stringers for a taped location.
    My 1200s have the brass fittings at the 760 locations,both 1200 and 760 would fit in a 1200 I think the 760 would be the same.

    How about a detailed parts list?

    Do I need from the PTO back (pump, bearing housing, coupler, etc)?
    The whole ignition or just cdi, coil(s), etc?

    Pump is dif,intermeadiate dif I think exit noz dif,Everything in the ignition box dif,starter cables may be same gas tank dont know oil tank dont know same possibly.motor carbs flywheel pulser coils air box dif.exhaust and waterbox dif.

    You have the same hull everything that bolts to it is going to be different.

    Dang! I I guess I'll start looking for a 1200 with a bad hull or title issues!
