Had the RXP out yesterday
Went out 3/25 around 1pm air temp 44f water 39f, freakin cold! I had installed RIVA stage 1 plus rear riva exhaust. went out wartmed her up checked for leaks a few times the heade3d out on Lake Candlewood out of New Fairfield CT. hoping someone out there is in this area looking for ridin buddies.
Well the boat ran great 8100-8150 no gps yet but pegged it right up to 70mph and the hole shot and sound are just incredible. I haven't done the waterbox mod yet. Can anybody vouch for a go or no go, for instance what would I notice besides a little louder, and is the loudness(tone) still sweet and sharp the way it is now
Next going to due the ride plate holes and intake grate stuff, gps should be decided on by then thinkin garmin vista color but may just go with etrex any opinions on that purchase?

I believe you do the waterbox if you have engine work done. If you don't have the engine work done you could cut the J-pipe back an inch. Maybe someone else will chime in.

I noticed a post where you explained your speaker setup, wondering if you'd refresh my memory here or if you know the title of the post, also how do they sound is it worth the effort. I heard this type system in a hot tub and it was mediocre at best but it was a few years back?

J pipe comes out of waterbox so as I don't have to cut off the end of the waterbox to do this right?
