Need a starting point for jetting

    I have a 1996 slt 780 with 250 hrs. Here's what I have done since I got it :
Added fuel filter and pro 785 F/A
    New

    fuel lines
    petcock
    R&D aquavein grate

    Rebuilt

    Fuel pump(mikuni kit)
    Carbs(mikuni kits)

I know they made 2 different carbs for the Fuji 780. The difference had to do something with the amount and placement of the transition holes. My current jetting is 67.5 pilots and 110 mains. I also didn't have a pop-off gauge so when I rebuilt the carbs I used the old levers and springs. Any help or suggestions would be great.

You have the first transition hole above the throttle plate.

67.5/110 would be your starting point. The 785 air box isn't much different or more efficient than the 780 stock box. open the screws 1/4 turn, do plug chops and check your wash.

How did you get a 785 (44mm) F/A to fit on 38mm? Carb settings are in the tech section under Fuji fuel, or the manual BD posted in there.
