    Racing

What type of sanctioned racing do you guys do? I was thinking about doing some this last season down in Texas but I never had the time. I plan to be in the Ozarka Bricktown Nationals SDBA drag event next summmer in the PWC class. My ski should be setup by late spring to a 1390 CC ski hopefully running 78+ mph in the heat if not over 80mph.

    Any ideas for me?

if you want to drag race in a real event, you might want to go to tripples, and carbs

Well I thought about that and looked at the numbers from other winners and they are only in the 60 mph range in the 1/4 mile. I marked off 1/4 mile on the lake in a cove and did above 60 mph. A 1390 cc motor should put me well above what most people will run. I don't think anyone will show up with a 1300+CC tripple pipe.... unless Steve shows up and 2nd place is still 100 bucks and it is fun.

Plus tripples and carbs make the ski.... well not the way I want it to be. I would rather toss in a RXP motor or that new yamaha motor that is coming out really than have to deal with wrenching on a tripple.
