    SC hose?

Wouldent you have to remove the factory hose clamp from the exit side of the SC to rebuild it? Cuz when i bought the ski from the dealer they said they just rebuilt the SC, pump, shaft, impeller, and engine mounts. It looks like all that stuff has been done but im not sure about the SC. And its only puting out 4 lbs of boost and 71-7200 rpm @ 53-55 mph. Any thoughts?

i would remove the intake hose and see if you can spin the sc impeller by hand, if you can something is wrong in there.

7600 on the 03 GTX...you'd get the right boost reading if you can get to that number...

4lbs of boost is low, but when you order the upgrade kit it comes with a new oetiker factory style clamp so it should look pretty much the same from the outside.

youre not turning the egine over with your hand from the sc. a little movement is pretty much normal, youjust dont want to be able to spin it all the way around.

what impeller did they put in there? it sounds like it may be over propped

You might have a boost leak. Make a soapy solution and wipe that around ends of the SC to intake hose, it'll bubble up if there's a leak. Test around the intake manifold for gasket leaks as well. I replaced all of the Oetiker clamps with stainless steel worm-drive hose clamps.
