    Gas Operated P/V?

Any one know the travel from closed to open with gas operated power valves? I come up with .353". I am making up a set from Polaris parts for my 02 GPR and want to get the travel right. Also if someone can snap a pic of the Riva adapters from the bottom side that would help.
    Thanks Steve

beerdart - I have to pick some up @ the post office tomorrow. I wont be installing them for a couple of weeks. Would it be easier if you had one to do your own measurements ? I dont mind tracing, measurements but I would need you to walk through it with me.

I think just some good pics will do it. I have all the measurements less the gas feed hole size and overall travel.
    Thanks Steve

Already put mine back together but shouldn't you be able to check with the head off? I know the valve could travel all the way dowm to the stop in the exaust port and then all they way up until the valve was flush with the port roof. Not sure which valve you are using so make sure you have enough clearence between the piston and valve.

That is what I did to get the .353 but wanted to double check. Measure twice and cut once.

    Steve,
I measured .078" on the hole this was with calipers so it is probably a couple thousand's bigger. What size are the springs in the polaris set-up?

4# , 5# , 6# , or 7# it depends one when you want the valves to open. Is there a bushing where the valve stem goes thru the adapter plate?

    Thanks mrbtd for the pics.
