    I Rode the Spitfire!!!

Check this out-met Joe for the 1st time last week and he let me take a spin on the Spitfire in San Diego's Mission Bay PWC area(its a big counterclockwise oval)
Oh my GOD it sounds sweet and nice and LOUD!!-And I cant even describe the hole shot let alone the speed of that crazy Sea Doo/Yamaha ski
Here a picture of Joe on her as she does the famous jump right out of the water, and a picture of me next-Thanks a million Joe for trusting one of the Polaris guys

AWESOME Pirate, that's quite nice of Joe to let you take her for a spin, he's never offered me a ride........but then again I guess I'd need to show up somewhere. LOL
Although I did meet 4strokepolaris (Jay) while we were at the BRP Dealer Show in Palm Desert last week.

So you ready to do a conversion ski now?

You lucky Pirate!!!!I hope you went faster than Young did!
You are the guine pig of the group. You get to ride everyone's ski. You are like a God Pirate.
Thanks for helping me out on Saturday too! I really appreciate it. Sorry I couldnt ride more with you guys either, my time was limited causes the family was back at the beach waiting for me.

I have no idea how fast I was going down the backstretch on the 3rd pass-I told Joe where I had the throttle pulled back to-but I was passing the other skis without any riding effort-Its no Virage hull for sure. 1st I need to go to North Cal and really kiss Butt to a guy with a Matrix ride before a conversion-plus I need to put TRIPLES on one of the Virage's real soon

Forgive me for not being familiar (yet) with the Virage riding characteritics - What are you saying about the Virage's hull?

Virage and SLTX hulls (same) are very flat bottomed with a very shallow keel all the way to the front... In rough water, it's like riding a bouncing board. Relatively speaking the GPR cuts through the waves pretty nicely.
