Help me dicide!!
(IM POSTING THIS HERE ALSO CAUSE YAMAHA MAKES A STANDUP!)
i have a smaller lake.. and overr the winter i plan to work hard and earn the funds for a new ride..
i really cant decide what i would like more..
rxp-x would be amazing.. just for speed and ya.. (beating everyone else on the lake=P
a stand up?
if so what should i look at? what brand and such? yamaha or hydrosport s4?
i knw there is a huge price difference.. what is the difference im paying for??
whats easyer to maintain and cheeper to keep running?? whats more of a fun ride?
i own a 96 spx and what i love about it is getting air and falling off donig something stupid. im not afreaid of dfoing something stupid=P full speed and turning as hard as i can and see if i can hold on=p
i know i cant do that on a rxp.. but does fast make up for not getting wet??

You can find used stand ups all day long for $1000 to $1500. These are a blast, especially on a small lake.
Get the stand up!

sounds like your in the stand up market,,,
no way your gonna afford a new rxp-x
atleast you could get a decent stand-up,,
there all fun, just depends on what u want, what you drive, whats the storage sitch, whether or not you like working on motors etc...

I started out on a stand-up in 86!Opps that was before your time, but if I were your age again,I would enjoy being able to throw a stand-up around.Find a descent used one and keep the spx too.Youll have plenty of times to enjoy sit downs later,so long as you motor safe

i have no problems working on the moters!
i just want something thats has lots of guts to it and it good for what i would use it.
money doesnt matter... it would jsut change how long i would have to wait!!
and also i would perfer new cause ya.. i jsut want to know what im getting and knoow that it was broken in properly and stuff...
thats why i ask if i go into the stand up market.. what are all the brands i should look into? whats the best so far? what is the difference in the machines compared to price?? like why is the hydrospace 14 000 and the yamaha 8 000??

get a stand up you wont regret or a blaster. If its a small lake You just get bored. I was at my friends lake in Mass and it was really small riding my Rxp it took me seconds to get to the other side. Coming from an area where I do 70 mile rides sometimes it was really boring to do circles in a lake. I was killing my self when i went there im like WOW should have brought the stand up - but didnt have any room on the trailer or in the truck.
